Moving the WordPress site to a new host can be a bit stressful.<\/p>\n<p>It should be done properly in order to avoid some annoying and unexpected errors. \u00a0Below, you may find the detailed instruction on moving the site.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>First of all, deactivate all theme. Go to the <del class=\"support-arrow-right\">admin page<\/del> <del class=\"support-arrow-right\">Ronneby<\/del>\u00a0and click Deactivate heme.<\/li>\n<li>Before you begin, deactivate all plugins. Your WordPress database will then be downloaded as a .sql file. It is recommended to save the downloaded SQL file to a special folder on your computer so that you can easily locate it later.\u00a0You can also use the command line to export a copy of your database, you can find <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/documentation\/article\/backing-up-your-database\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more information on that here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create on your local machine clear database and make import from your exported file.<\/li>\n<li>Then go to SQL tab and execute next command:<strong>UPDATE wp_options SET option_value = replace(option_value, &#8216;http:\/\/old_domain&#8217;, &#8216;http:\/\/new_domain&#8217;) WHERE option_name = &#8216;home&#8217; OR option_name = &#8216;siteurl&#8217;;UPDATE wp_posts SET guid = replace(guid, &#8216;http:\/\/old_domain&#8217;,&#8217;http:\/\/new_domain&#8217;);UPDATE wp_posts SET post_content = replace(post_content, &#8216;http:\/\/old_domain&#8217;, <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>&#8216;http:\/\/new_domain&#8217;);<\/strong><strong>Note! <\/strong>Change &#8216;http:\/\/old_domain&#8217; to your old address and change &#8216;http:\/\/new_domain&#8217; to your new address.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11170\" src=\"http:\/\/rnbtheme.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/sql-command.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"978\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rnbtheme.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/sql-command.jpg 978w, https:\/\/rnbtheme.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/sql-command-300x139.jpg 300w, https:\/\/rnbtheme.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/sql-command-768x356.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 978px) 100vw, 978px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make Export of this local database.<\/li>\n<li>Then transfer all your WordPress files to the new domain and change the name of database in wp-config.php.<\/li>\n<li>Go to PHPMyAdmin and make import from database from p.3<\/li>\n<li>Go to <del class=\"support-arrow-right\">Settings<\/del> <del>Permalinks<\/del> and just click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please do not forget to activate the theme with the purchase code.<br \/>\nThat is all.
